1. About these terms

These terms cover the services I offer through caitlinpell.com. When you book a session or buy a membership, you're agreeing to the terms that apply to that service.

2. My services

I offer complementary wellbeing services, including:

• Reiki sessions, energy healing and Soul Alignment sessions
• Coaching, including the Becoming Journey
• Training and workshops, where offered
• The Ananda membership

The details, length, format and price of each service are shown before you buy.

3. What Reiki and my services can offer

Reiki and my other services are complementary practices. They are not a substitute for medical assessment, diagnosis or treatment, or for mental health care.

I can't promise any specific results. You remain responsible for your own decisions, and you should speak to a healthcare professional about any medical concerns.

You can pause or stop a session at any time.

4. Booking and payment

• Bookings depend on availability, and you need to give accurate contact details.
• Prices, payment terms and any deposits are shown when you book.
• If a payment fails, I may contact you, or suspend paid access where I'm allowed to.

5. Cancellations, rescheduling and missed appointments

• Please give at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
• With 48 hours' notice or more, you can reschedule or receive a refund in line with your booking terms and your legal rights.
• Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice, and missed appointments, may not be refunded, where a charge is fair, proportionate and allowed by law.
• If I need to cancel, I'll offer you another appointment or a refund.
• If you book online or at a distance, you usually have a 14-day cancellation period under consumer law, although some exceptions apply.

6. Your appointment

• Please arrive on time, wearing comfortable clothing.
• You're welcome to talk to me beforehand about any conditions or accessibility needs.
• Anything you share is handled in line with my privacy policy.
• If a session can't be given safely or appropriately, I may postpone or end it, and I'll offer a fair refund or another arrangement.

7. Ananda membership

• Ananda is a digital membership with guided meditations, breathwork, Reiki and somatic practices.
• The advertised price is £5 a month, unless a different price is shown at checkout.
• Access is through Google Drive or another platform I tell you about.
• Please keep your login details secure and don't share the paid resources.

8. Membership payments and renewal

• Monthly memberships renew automatically at the advertised price until you cancel.
• If the price changes, I'll give you reasonable notice in advance, and ask for your agreement or give you the chance to cancel where required.

9. Cancelling Ananda

• You can cancel by following the instructions on the platform you subscribed through, or by emailing [email protected].
• When you cancel, your membership won't renew, and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, unless the checkout terms say otherwise.
• Your legal rights aren't affected. A 14-day cancellation period may apply to online subscriptions, with special rules for digital content you receive straight away.
• Where required, I'll ask you separately at checkout to agree to receive immediate access.

10. Digital resources and intellectual property

• All materials belong to me or are used with permission.
• Buying them gives you personal access only. Please don't copy, resell, distribute, publish or use them commercially, or share them with anyone who hasn't bought them.
• This doesn't affect your legal rights.

11. Testimonials and feedback

• Giving feedback is always optional.
• I'll ask your permission before using any feedback that identifies you in my marketing.
• If you have concerns about a testimonial you've agreed to, you can contact me at any time.

12. Privacy

I handle your personal information in line with my privacy policy.

13. Liability

• I provide my services with reasonable care and skill.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be excluded, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for your consumer rights.
• I'm not responsible for outcomes that depend on your individual circumstances or that are beyond my reasonable control.

14. Complaints and questions

If you have any concerns, please email [email protected] and I'll aim to resolve them fairly.

15. Changes to my services or these terms

I may update my services, resources or these terms when reasonably necessary, and I'll let you know about important changes where appropriate. Changes won't affect rights you already have.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any consumer protection laws that apply to you.

If you're a consumer, you can bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.
